The increase of Indonesia\u2019s seafood exports in the first quarter of 2021 has shown that the support from the local exporters had finally paid off. C-Fishery as one of the exporters also contributed to the total fishery products exported globally.<\/span><\/p>\n

The data released by Indonesia\u2019s Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) mentioned that over January to April 2021, Indonesia had generated a total of US$ 1.75 Billions from seafood exports<\/span> alone, which increased by 4.15% compared to the year of 2020. This data concluded that the archipelago country will continue to bring in more money from fishery industries. Meanwhile, the government is optimistic that Indonesia will be able to export a total of US$\u00a0 6.05 Bilions.<\/span><\/p>\n

How can Indonesia Thrive in Seafood Exports?<\/b><\/h3>\n

Further evidence from BPS mentioned that Indonesia\u2019s seafood exports can grow amidst the pandemic because the demand for healthier protein source options are rising. Indonesia\u2019s prawn products still become the primadona of the industry, generating a total of US$ 725.98 Millions from January to April 2021, which contributed to the total of 41.56% in the first quarter of seafood exports<\/span> in 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

Besides that, there are also another reasons why Indonesia can thrive while other seafood exporting countries like India, Vietnam and Norwegia had declined, which are:<\/span><\/p>\n
